Alyssa Nazario is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing services to the state of Colorado and soon Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Alyssa is committed to providing support to individuals facing severe and persistent mental illness to include but not limited too: unresolved trauma, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and Suicidality. Alyssa's work as a crisis intervention specialist is centered on creating a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals in need. Her expertise includes de-escalation techniques, risk assessment, and the development of personalized safety plans, always delivered with compassion and empathy. She is dedicated to helping clients rebuild their lives after experiencing trauma, navigate the challenges of anxiety and depression, and develop coping strategies that foster a sense of empowerment and hope. Alyssa also expanded her reach to couples who are looking towards beginning their life together. Whether dating a while, engaged, or newly married, she looks forward to explore your relationship with you.
Alyssa's commitment to service and her dedication are not only evident in her professional work but also in her identity as a service member in the United States Air Force Reserves. Her experiences in the military have shaped her values of discipline, integrity, and service, which she brings to her role as a mental health professional.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. She has an energetic German Shepard /Husky that loves the dog park and going on hikes. Just as curious, Blanc the cat, enjoys afternoon strolls in the neighborhood and making friends.
